【摘要】:ThisStandardestablishesperformancerequirementsforhandchainmanuallyoperatedchainhoistsforverticalliftingserviceinvolvingmaterialhandlingoffreelysuspended(unguided)loadsusingweldedlinktypeloadchainasaliftingmediumwithoneofthefollowingtypesofsuspension:(1)hookorclevis;(1)trolley.ItisapplicabletohoistsmanufacturedafterthedateonwhichthisStandardisissued.Differentialpulleyandself-lockingwormdrivetypehoistsarenotcoveredinthisStandard.Itisnotapplicableto:(1)damagedormalfunctioninghoists;(2)hoiststhathavebeenmisusedandabused(3)hoiststhathavebeenalteredwithoutauthorizationofthemanufactureroraqualifiedperson;(4)hoistsusedforliftingorsupportingpeople;(5)hoistsusedforthepurposeofdrawingboththeloadandthehoistupordownthehoist'sownwirerope;and(6)hoistsusedformarineandotherapplicationsasrequiredbytheDepartmentofDefense(DOD).ThestandardincludesanappendixonHandChainManuallyOperatedChainHoistsusedinmarineandotherapplicationsasrequiredbytheDepartmentofDefense(DOD).
